We love our animals! We want the best for them. Spaying and neutering is good for them. And did you know that not only dogs and cats should be spayed and neutered but also rabbits! They reproduce fast so don't wait!

Five Reasons to Spay/Neuter Your Fur Babies!

  1. Helps Your Pet Live Longer and Healthier
For Males: Neutering helps prevent testicular cancer, if they are neutered before they are 6 months old. But if neutered later, males will still be better behaved and less likely to roam from home.
For Females: Spaying helps prevent breast cancer and uterine infections in female pets, plus it keeps your female pet from going into heat. Spaying before her first heat will offer the greatest protection from these diseases.
  2. Cost-Effective
Costs add up when you have a litter to care for. And if there are accidents or incidents that injure other pets by a rambunctious animal, costs add up.
  3. Set a Good Example for the Kids
If you have a litter you can not care for, what does that teach your children. Better to adopt or foster one of many needy animals to show compassion and care of our furry friends.
  4. It Does Not Make Your Pet Fat (it's a myth)
    Only overeating will do that!
  5. Helps Over-Population of Animal Community
You do not want to have to abandon an animal because you can not care for them. There are soooo many homeless cats and dogs and other animals! Consider adopting or fostering. And even consider adopting or fostering a disabled animal or an older animal who have trouble finding forever homes. As do black cats too!
