The city of Long Beach is having a logo contest for its centennial year! See their instructions below!
"The City of Long Beach turns 100 this year! In preparation for the year-long celebration, we invite individuals of any age with ties to Long Beach (lived, worked, or played in our “city by the sea”) to participate in a centennial logo design competition. The logo should represent the city that we love, and spirit of the community. We know that great talent is out there and we’d love to see your creative ideas. Show your talent and enter the contest!
The centennial logo competition will be part of a series of events and activities planned to celebrate the City of Long Beach, which was incorporated on June 1, 1922. The logo will be used on all posters, advertising, media, pins and possibly clothing merchandise. Entries will be judged by the Centennial Committee. The winner will receive a $250 prize, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and will be recognized at a City Council meeting.
For more information and to download a submission for, please visit longbeachny.gov/centennial."
Entry Deadline: April 18, 2022
