The City of Long Beach and the Ancient Order of Hibernians - Division 17. Long Beach, NY are pleased to announce they have reached agreement on a general framework that will allow the St. Brendan the Navigator Irish Heritage Day Festival to continue in a manner that takes into account concerns surrounding COVID-19.
Each party commends the other’s efforts to engage in pragmatic and productive discussions that resulted in the continuation of this much beloved tradition.
The parade will indeed kick off at 11:00am on Saturday, October 2nd and a street fair will follow. More details will be announced as they become available.
