On Saturday, May 14th, the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Long Beach will host The Long Beach Centennial Scavenger Hunt, an adventure based Scavenger Hunt that will engage and challenge participants about our “City by the Sea”. Through a points based App, teams will visit various locations and earn points as they learn about and enjoy the City of Long Beach in a fun new way.

Hours: 11:00am – 4:00 pm /Orientation Begins at 10:30 am/ The Hunt Begins at 11:30 am
Start & Finish: In front of Long Beach City Hall-
Kennedy Plaza 1 West Chester Street, Long Beach
Awards Ceremony with Prizes: approx 4:30pm
Teams:
Teams will consist of 4-6 people each. Individual participants or teams of less than 4 will be joined together to form a team. Team Captains will download the cityHUNT App (IPhone or Android). Teams receive clues and try to solve as many clues as possible during the duration of the hunt. Solving a clue is easy: once a team figures out the answer to the clue it captures the moment with your phone and upload the image using the mobile app. Photos are worth different point values depending on how difficult and outrageous they are answered.
Prizes:
Great prizes will be awarded to a number of teams for a variety of winning categories.
Final Prize list will be announced as the event draws closer.
Cost to Participate:
